Trip to Cameron Highland

Cameron Highlands in Pahang is one of Malaysia's most popular tourist destinations, a collection of peaceful townships perched 1500 meters high on a nest of serene mountains. Cooling resorts, tea plantations and strawberry farms sprawl lazily across lush valleys and meandering hillslopes, the perfect setting for a relaxing holiday. The sea of tranquility, pleasant landscapes and cold climate impart a special experience upon the multitudes of visitors each year. Meanwhile, a different world lies hidden away among the natural surroundings - a rainforest ecosystem rich with the wonders of nature, long held with fascination by researchers and naturalists across the world.

Cameron Highlands is the largest tea-growing region in Malaysia - home to vast plantations of this valuable crop that carpet the valleys in a lush sea of bright green. Tea was also one of the precursors to its development as a hill station, before its transformation into a major tourist destination.

Experience to Cameron

To escape the hot weather in kuala lumpurmy friends and I have plans to drive tocameron Highlands. all the way to cameron road we have gone through thewinding like snakes and many climbing areasThe higher we drove the weathergets colder and refreshing.selain is along the road we could see the greenscenerythe mountains and tea gardens are beautifulapart from that we can also see the village of the natives along the way as well.

In cameron we stay at a hotel called the LakehouseThe Lakehouse is a colonial mansion and luxury resort in Ringlet, just a few km after town, along the main road and facing a large dam. Perched on a hill top, the Lakehouse is a fine example of Tudor architecture and a cosy place to experience English styled living and  beautiful for photography.

Among the places I have visited such as the strawberry farmorchid farm, vagetable farm, cactus farm, tea farmrose gardenbutterfly garden .....

The most beautiful experience is picking strawberries themselves and feel fresh and juicy strawberries.

trip to cameron highland very fun and new experiences ....

How to go to cameron

Cameron Highlands is located at Pahang, near the borders of Perak state. Most visitors drive up with their own vehicles, but budget travellers may take the bus from Kuala Lumpur, Penang or Singapore, all which offer luxury or economy coaches running daily trips. Alternatively, you can take a bus up from Tapah and Ipoh towns using the Kurnia Bistari or Regal buses, but be warned that these two companies use rather dilapidated coaches and ocassionally reckless drivers. There is no airport in Cameron Highlands; the closest is at Ipoh, from where you can take a bus or taxi up. Finally, a shuttle mini van service also runs from Chinatown in KL and Taman Negara (Kuala Tembeling).
